All cars for official use are four doors, family cars have four doors, three doors and five doors (the rear doors are lift-up), and sports cars used for sports have two doors. The number of doors calculated here includes the trunk doors.
Car door types:
1. Integral door
The one we encounter most in our work is the integral car door. The door is easy to disassemble and assemble, and work can be performed only by removing the door trim panel. However, the internal structure of the door is complicated, and there are many related parts, such as elevator, door central control motor, door lock linkage mechanism, wiring harness and so on. When the door sheet metal is repaired, the space is small, which is not conducive to the entry of tools, and the operation is very inconvenient.
2. Split door
The most representative of split doors is the doors of Hongqi passenger cars. The panel and the inner frame of the door are separated, and the door trim panel and the inner frame need to be disassembled during maintenance. This type of car door is very beneficial for sheet metal repair and has enough space to use, but it is more troublesome to repair and replace other parts (glass lifters, door locks, etc.). In addition, each time the upper frame is disassembled, its installation position must be repeatedly adjusted to ensure the correct position of its adjacent components, otherwise it will affect the ease of opening and closing the door and the sealing performance.
3. Golf passenger car door
The door of a golf passenger car absorbs the advantages of the above two types of doors (Figure 3). All accessories are installed on the integral lifter. The lifter and door lock are installed on a high-strength aluminum alloy plate (Figure 4), and then bolted to the door, which not only improves the overall strength of the door, but also improves the door. The sealing performance is relatively troublesome, but it is not conducive to the work of small sheet metal (small sheet metal: generally refers to the sheet metal work with a small repair area and easier to repair).
Four, Sagitar passenger car door
The door of the Sagitar passenger car has been improved on the basis of the door of the golf passenger car. Without disassembling the door trim panel, the door panel can be removed to perform door sheet metal repair and replacement of parts. The specific operation procedure for disassembling the door panel is as follows: first remove the door vertical side sealing strip, Since the sealing strip is connected with the plastic buckle, the force should be light when disassembling to prevent damage. Then remove the outer door handle. First pull the outer handle to make it open (this is very critical, this disassembly method inherits the traditional disassembly method of the Volkswagen passenger car door pull-out door handle), and loosen the fixing screws until the small fixing block of the door handle becomes loose , After removing the fixing block, separate the connection between the outer pull wire of the door lock and the outer door handle, remove the outer door handle, and remove the screws of the inner fixing frame of the door handle. Finally, remove the fixing screws fixing the door panel.
