【Car owner's home car knowledge】I believe that 9 of the 10 car owners have tried this action: squat down and look with your eyes, or use your feet to hold the tire, and it seems that you can know if the tire pressure is enough. For me, I have also copied it, but I don’t feel that much. This time, we will see if this method is feasible through the pressure gauge and the observation and feeling of tire pressure by men and women.

In order to verify whether it is practical to see with your eyes and step with your feet, we set several conditions: let the tire be in three states: too low, normal tire pressure, and too high tire pressure, and professional technicians specifically inflate and deflate, and then the car owners, both male and female, experience it personally.
● Preparation before testing
In order to test tire pressure more accurately, we let the tire stand and park for 1 hour before testing.
Before the test, we let the owner experience their tire condition. In order to make the test experience more comprehensive, we specially asked the female car owner to participate in this experience.
● Test method: Under different tire pressures, observe the changes in tires by watching the feet.

● Test method: Under different tire pressures, observe the changes in tires by watching the feet.

With the help of professional instruments, we set the tire pressure value to five intervals: 1.3BAR, 1.5BAR, 2.0BAR, 2.3BAR, and 3.0BAR. Among them, the tire pressure below 2.3BAR is low, the tire pressure between 2.3~2.8BAR is normal tire pressure, and 3.0BAR is high, and then the test is carried out in the same environment and location.
● Test 1: When the tire pressure value is 1.3BAR

When the tire pressure value is below 1.5BAR, there is no need to kick it. You can directly see that the tire pressure is insufficient by looking at it. When the tire is at this tire pressure value, it will directly affect driving safety. This is true for tire blowouts. Too low tire pressure will largely lead to tire blowouts (except for nailing).
● Test 2: When the tire pressure value is 1.5BAR

When the tire pressure value is lower than 1.5BAR (including 1.5BAR), it can be visually judged that the tire tread is a bit deformed.

When testing the 1.3BAR and 1.5BAR tires, the male owner who participated in this test had a deep experience. When the 1.5BAR tire pressure is below, just a little careful, the eyes can actually tell the result, but the feeling of kicking with the feet is more obvious. Although it is not as soft as the bicycle tire, it still feels a little bit. However, the female car owner who participated in this test said that because she was a layman, the feeling of kicking her feet was not obvious, and when she looked at her eyes, she was not sure whether the tire pressure was too low.
