Tools Needed:

Before beginning, gather the following tools:

- Screwdriver set (Phillips and flathead)

- Trim removal tools

- Pliers

- Torx bit set

- Socket wrench set

Step 1: Removing the Center Console

The center console is the panel that runs between the driver and front passenger seats. To remove it, follow these steps:

1. Remove the shift knob. Use a trim removal tool to pry off the shift knob cover. Once the cover is off, use pliers to remove the clip holding the knob in place. Pull the knob off.

2. Remove the cup holder. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry up the cup holder cover. Once the cover is off, use a socket wrench to remove the bolts holding the cup holder in place.

3. Remove the trim panels. Use a trim removal tool to pry off the trim panels on either side of the center console. Once the panels are off, use a socket wrench to remove the bolts holding the center console in place.

4. Disconnect the wiring. Carefully disconnect any wiring harnesses connected to the center console.
