How to use the one-button start of Volkswagen Lingdu

The one-button start button of Volkswagen Lingdu is at the left rear position of the gear handle. The driver enters the car with the smart key, and presses the button while stepping on the foot brake to start the car with one button. Note that there is no need for a traditional mechanical key to assist in starting.

　　

When using one-button start, you need to step on the brake and then press the ignition switch to start. If you turn it off, you need to stop the vehicle and press the button again. If you just want to turn on the ignition switch without starting the engine, you can directly press the one-button start button without stepping on the foot brake. When it is turned off, you only need to press the button again to confirm that the pointer in the tachometer moves to the OFF position and it is turned off. When we turn off the engine and put it in gear, we first need to stop, step on the brake, put it in the N gear, then release the brake, pull up the handbrake, then turn off the engine, and put it in the P gear. It should be noted that if we are parking on a slope, we must first pull the handbrake and then release the brake, this is to avoid the car from slipping.
