Recently, at the Intelligent Electric Vehicle Development High-Level Forum (2026), Feishu Product Vice President and Feishu project leader Hong Tao said that the development of China's new energy vehicle industry is giving rise to a new generation of advanced management software and digital products. According to the 2026 CCID report, seven of the top ten new energy passenger vehicle brands in terms of sales in 2025 have chosen the Feishu project. In addition, Feishu Project ranks first in the industry in the fields of software R&D management SaaS and IPD management SaaS, with market shares of 46.8% and 68.6% respectively.
Hong Tao pointed out that the current competition in the automobile industry has evolved from the "horsepower competition" in the past to a comprehensive competition of product power, computing power, technological innovation and organizational power. The core challenge facing vehicle research and development is the exponential increase in complexity. He explained that traditional mechanical engineering hardware manufacturing mostly adopts the waterfall flow development model, which has long iteration cycles, high quality requirements, and needs to be robust enough; while Internet software development pays attention to daily iterations, and agility is the first priority.
For vehicle research and development, it is necessary to meet the two seemingly contradictory requirements of "agility" and "robustness" at the same time. To this end, the Feishu project has launched an integrated management platform that allows software and hardware engineers to work collaboratively within the same planning framework, solving the collaborative problem of "software seeking speed and hardware seeking stability" in vehicle research and development.

At the meeting, Hong Tao introduced the actual results of the Feishu project using Avita as an example. With the help of the Feishu project, Avita has achieved full-link management from demand to launch, accumulated 1,400 vehicle standards, and shortened PDS demand analysis time by 90%. In addition, Avita has also introduced AI virtual quality engineers to automatically generate solutions for large models and complete real-time model verification based on the R&D data and standards accumulated in the Feishu project. Hong Tao said that the past model of relying on manual discovery of problems has been revolutionized, and now the R&D system can automatically predict potential risks in the early stages of a project.
In the field of intelligence, the Feishu project has served nearly 90% of known intelligent companies. "In the past, data that needed to be filled in and returned manually can now be sent to the vehicle with one click, and the efficiency of road testing has increased tenfold," Hong Tao said. Take the autonomous driving company Momenta as an example. Its R&D team has developed more than 50 plug-ins on the Feishu project, with an average of more than 1.2 million API calls per day. In addition, the Feishu project also helped Momenta pass the stringent certification of major international OEMs. The solution it proposed has the characteristics of both "Chinese speed" and "global compliance".
In the field of electrification, Hong Tao took Yinlun Co., Ltd., an automotive thermal management parts company, as an example. The company digitized the entire product development process, and key deliverables were solidified into online templates through the Feishu project, forming a traceable management link. When the OEM comes to audit, all evidence can be retrieved with one click, the audit cost is reduced by 70%, and the research and development cycle is shortened by 20%. Hong Tao said that for supply chain companies, compliance is no longer a surprise exam, but integrated into daily "muscle memory."
From vehicle manufacturing to intelligent driving algorithms, the automotive industry chain is undergoing a digital reshaping of R&D management. Under the high requirements of industrial development, digital tools must evolve. "Software empowers the industry and forms advanced processes; the industry feeds back software and creates software barriers through in-depth co-creation." Hong Tao said that the Feishu project will keep pace with the development of China's automobile industry, adapt to the new situation, create China's new generation of advanced management software digital products, and promote the prosperity of management ideas and digital software engineering.
