Both methods of oil change have their advantages and disadvantages. The advantage of gravity oil change is that the cost is relatively low, the efficiency of oil change is also very fast, and the operation is convenient. The disadvantage is that the oil may not be drained cleanly, and the oil change rate can only reach about 50%.

principle:Use gravity to change the transmission oil. In this way, the drain screw under the transmission oil needs to be opened, then under the influence of gravity, the transmission oil will flow out. It should be noted that you should let the engine run for some time before using gravity to change the transmission oil, after which you can add new oil.

2. Cycle oil change

The advantages and disadvantages of cyclic oil changes are the opposite. The advantage is that the oil discharge is relatively clean, and the oil change rate reaches 80%. The disadvantage is that the operation time is long, the cost is high, and it is prone to failure.

principle:To change the transmission oil in a cyclic way, you need to open the drain screw under the transmission oil first, drain part of the old oil, then turn the oil pan screw to drain about 1L of old oil, and then clean the oil pan. After these steps are completed, new oil can be added to the gearbox, and the remaining part of the old oil will be pushed out by pressure, and the oil cycle is completed.

The replacement cycle of the transmission oil is not fixed and is mainly determined by the vehicle model and the transmission oil model. Generally speaking, the replacement cycle of automatic transmission oil is 50,000 kilometers to 80,000 kilometers or two years, and the replacement cycle of manual transmission oil is 100,000 kilometers or three years.
