Observation at the observation port:When the air conditioner is not turned on, observe the air conditioner liquid level observation port, such asdiscoverWhen the liquid level is lower than one-half, it indicates that the air conditioner is short of refrigerating oil.

Pressure test:Since the refrigerating oil is also responsible for the sealing function of the air-conditioning compressor, we can carry out a pressurization experiment. If the air-conditioning system does not leak, if the pressurization pressure is too low or unstable, then the air conditioner lacks refrigerating oil .

The amount of refrigerating oil for automobile air conditioners is different for different vehicles. We can see the detailed amount of refrigerating oil on the nameplate on the air conditioner compressor and the vehicle instruction manual. And we only need to add refrigerating oil according to its specified filling amount.

Addition of refrigerating oil for automobile air-conditioning

Generally, there are two ways to add air-conditioning refrigerating oil: direct filling method and vacuum suction method, as follows:

Direct injection

The direct filling method only needs to open the cock of the compressor and pour the refrigerating oil directly into the compressor.

Vacuum suction method

Vacuum:Use a dedicated vacuum tool to extract the air from the air conditioning system.

Use negative pressure to inhale:After the air inside the air conditioning system is drawn out, the negative pressure is used to suck the refrigerated oil from the yellow hose into the compressor.

Add refrigerant:After the refrigerating oil is completely sucked into the compressor, the addition of the refrigerating oil can be completed, and then the refrigerant can be directly added.
