In order to accurately display the degree of (oxygen) concentration, so as to achieve a better car working condition. As a result, the 6-wire oxygen sensor with higher control accuracy (UEGO), which is a broadband oxygen sensor, is replaced. But when it comes to how to measure the 6 wires of the oxygen sensor, I believe many friends are still not very clear, so let's tell you how to do it next.

First, use the two test leads of the multimeter to connect to the two signal wires of the wide-range oxygen sensor (the red pen is connected to the positive electrode of the signal, and the black pen is connected to the negative signal of the signal). Then directly observe the voltage change of the multimeter, the normal signal voltage range is 1.0V～2.0V. Secondly, when the voltage value is greater than 1.5V, the mixture is too lean, and when the voltage value is less than 1.5V, the mixture is too rich. If the voltage has been maintained at 0v, 1.5V or 4.9V (constant value), it means that the oxygen sensor at this time has been seriously aging, and it needs to be replaced with a new one in time.

How to distinguish the color of the oxygen sensor signal line

1. Yellow is the positive electrode of the signal line;

2. Black is the negative pole of the signal line;

3. Red is the positive electrode of the heating wire;

4. White is the negative electrode of the heating wire.
