Note that the replacement of the timing belt is a preventive preparation. Otherwise, waiting until the timing belt is really broken, it will definitely cause a lot of trouble to the vehicle. After all, the vehicle can no longer operate normally.

How to judge that the timing belt needs to be replaced?

1. The engine has abnormal noise or noise. After the engine stops running for a while, check whether the belt is too loose by hand. If the gap is too large, you can choose to replace the timing belt.

2. The timing belt is severely worn and cracked.

Slippery timing belt process:

1. Rotate the crankshaft pulley, align the gap of the pulley with the convex point of the oil pump shell, and adjust the timing point;

2. Remove crankshaft pulley bolts and crankshaft pulley;

3. Remove the lower cover and guide wheel of the timing belt;

4. Remove the timing belt tensioner and unload the belt;

5. When assembling the belt, the belt must be tightened and not slack. After correcting the timing point, use an Allen key to adjust the pointer to tighten the tensioning wheel, and use the sleeve plate crankshaft to turn clockwise twice to ensure the timing point is accurate. .

6. Install the tensioning wheel first, and adjust it to the most loose position, the inner angle hole adjustment position mark opening is relatively 180°;

7. Install the belt and adjust the tension wheel. When adjusting, align the lower end of the tension wheel with the pointer, and then tighten the bolt;

8. Assemble the timing belt cover, first install the middle iron cover, then the upper and lower covers, and install the generator pulley, tensioner and belt in order.
