How to replace the antifreeze

1. First drive the vehicle into the lift operation area and open the cover of the coolant expansion kettle (ensure that the engine is in a cold state).

2. Lift the vehicle to a suitable working height, and unscrew the plastic drain screw on the engine cooling water tank to drain the antifreeze (some models may need to remove the bumper to unscrew the drain screw).

3. After the antifreeze is drained, put down the vehicle and pressurize the spout of the expansion kettle with high-pressure gas to discharge the antifreeze remaining in the engine. After draining, screw on the drain screw on the water tank.

4. Pour new antifreeze into the expansion kettle, and start the vehicle after it is full. At this time, the antifreeze level will drop significantly, and the antifreeze can be refilled in time. When the engine water temperature rises, the antifreeze fluid level stabilizes at the normal level, and then the engine is turned off.

5. Lift the vehicle again and check whether there is any leakage at the drain screw. If there is no leakage, the replacement of antifreeze is completed.
