How to detect the camshaft position sensor

Commonly used in automobiles are Hall-type camshaft sensors, which have three wires, one is a 12v or 5v power cord, a signal wire, and a ground wire. Pull out the plug and use a multimeter to measure the voltage. One meter rod is connected to the power cord, and the other meter rod is connected to the ground wire. When the ignition switch is turned on, the voltage should be above 4.5V. If the voltage is zero, it indicates that there is an open circuit or short circuit in the camshaft sensor harness.
