For the first charge of a lead-acid battery, you need to use a regular charger, first charge the electrolyte with the initial current (current is one-tenth of the battery capacity) to bubble up the battery cell voltage to 2.3-2.4V until. Then use half of the initial current to continue charging until the electrolyte is violently bubbling, and the voltage should be kept stable for 3 hours. Generally, after the charger jumps on the light, continue charging for 1-2 hours, and it will take about 8-10 hours to charge. Do not overcharge, which will affect the battery life.

After the battery is used for half a year, it is recommended to deeply discharge the battery once a month, and then charge the electric vehicle battery after deep discharge. The time is controlled at about 12 hours, which will greatly benefit the recovery of the electric vehicle battery. For batteries that have been used for more than two years, if the battery is not charged according to the correct method, overcharging will easily cause the battery to lose water and heat up.
