Automobile urea is synthesized in proportion using high-quality agricultural urea and ultrapure water. According to national standards, the density, refractive index, alkalinity, metal ions, sundries and other content of automobile urea have strict requirements. The main purpose of using automobile urea is to reduce harmful nitrogen oxides in exhaust gas into nitrogen and water, and it is generally used in diesel vehicles.
The automobile urea manufacturing process is relatively complicated, mainly tap water → pretreatment → primary reverse osmosis → secondary reverse osmosis → EDI system → ultrapure water storage tank → material storage tank → homogenization system → primary filtration system → decolorization system → extraction → Purification → finished product.
The harmful substances in the exhaust gas of diesel vehicles are mainly nitrogen oxides and particles. The emission of particles can be reduced by technical means inside the engine. The remaining exhaust gas is mainly nitrogen oxides, and then the automobile urea is injected into the exhaust after-treatment device. Let urea be decomposed into ammonia at high temperature, and under the action of a catalyst, it will react with nitrogen oxides to produce harmless nitrogen and water. This process is called SCR post-treatment system.
There is a special urea tank on the car. After the car is started, it will start to consume urea. It should be added in time for daily inspection. Generally, 100 liters of diesel fuel consumes about 4 liters of urea. The details are related to engine displacement, model, manufacturer, etc. Different road conditions and different loads will also cause different urea consumption.
