Before installation, check whether the piston ring and ring groove are clean, and keep it clean during installation. In addition, pay attention to the installation position and orientation of the piston ring. The following is the recipe for the installation method of the piston ring:

The inner groove of the torsion ring faces upward, and the groove of the outer groove ring faces downward;

The small end of the tapered ring faces upwards;

Ring with an inner chamfer, with the chamfer facing upwards;

Ring with outer round chamfer, chamfer down;

The marked side is up, and the barrel surface ring or chrome-plated ring should be installed in the first ring groove;

When installing the combined ring, install the axial liner ring first, and then install the flat ring and wave ring. A flat ring is installed on the top and bottom of the wave ring, and the openings of each ring should be staggered with each other.

Before the piston is installed, the piston ring needs to be rotated and adjusted so that the piston ring openings are approximately at an angle of 120° to each other.
