Start-stop battery replacement steps

1. First open the two fixing buttons of the thermal insulation cotton, lift up the two red and black insulation covers on the positive and negative terminals, and then find the fastening nut of the negative electrode of the battery.

2. Then use a wrench to unscrew the fastening nut of the negative pole, and then slowly pry off the fastening block with a flat-blade screwdriver. At this time, just pull out the negative pole connector.

3. Then go to the steps of removing the positive electrode connector, which is basically the same as the method of removing the negative electrode.

4. Finally, unscrew the nut used to fix the battery lock belt, and loosen the lock belt, you can directly take out the car battery.

As for the installation sequence of the car battery, just follow the reverse steps to install it. But when we install, we must follow the order of "positive first and then negative" (the reverse order of removal). Why do we say that. Because after connecting the negative electrode, it is equivalent to forming a loop for the car. If the positive electrode is connected last, then when the screw is fixed, if the wrench (with conductivity) accidentally touches the car metal by mistake, it is equivalent to connecting the positive and negative electrodes of the battery together. Not only will it cause a short circuit in the car battery, it may also cause "fire" in serious cases.
