In Li Shufu's view, both new energy and autonomous driving technologies are inevitable trends in the development of the industry. However, China must actively promote technological innovation if it wants to move from a major automobile country to a powerful automobile country.
When Li Shufu tried his best to promote methanol cars, he was not opposed to electrification. With the promotion of various new energy sources, electric vehicles have also been regarded as green energy sources, which are believed to facilitate travel and protect the environment.
