It means to remove the throttle valve assembly. The technician uses a special cleaning agent to clean the contaminants inside the throttle valve, and then installs and restores it.

How to clean the throttle valve of Haval H7:

1. After removing the air pipe on the throttle valve, we can remove the entire throttle valve. The throttle valve is usually fixed to the engine block through 4 bolts, and we can quickly remove it using appropriate tools.

2. The side of the throttle close to the combustion chamber is generally dirty. There are traces of black carbon deposits, which is the main part we need to clean. Cleaning the throttle is mainly to remove the carbon deposits on it. We can use special throttle cleaning fluid or cleaning agent. It should be noted here that the cleaning principle of this type of cleaning agent is to dissolve carbon deposits, and its ingredients are more harmful to the human body. It is best to wear gloves and a mask when cleaning.

3. Spray the cleaner onto the throttle valve where there is more carbon deposit, and wait for it to dissolve the carbon deposit, which will take about 5-10 minutes. Using a brush can speed up the removal of carbon deposits.

4. When we see that the stains on the throttle have been completely dissolved, we can use a clean towel to wipe the cleaner inside the throttle. Clean the back of the throttle so that no traces of carbon deposits are visible.

5. Install the cleaned throttle valve onto the engine body according to its original position. Then install all the air pipes to complete the entire process of cleaning the throttle valve. After installing all the hardware, we need to initialize the throttle.
