Step One: Prepare Tools

A No. 10 small wrench (for disassembling and assembling the battery terminal), a large cross screwdriver (for disassembling and assembling the intake elbow), a T30 internal flower wrench (for disassembling and assembling the throttle), and a bottle of carburetor cleaning agent.

Step 2: Remove the throttle intake elbow

Step 3: Unplug the throttle harness plug

Step 4: Remove the throttle body

[Tips]The function of the car throttle: Controls air entry, and can automatically control the amount of oil through the throttle position sensor. In other words, it is the device that controls the throttle.

Classification: One is controlled by a pull wire, which is a semi-mechanical and semi-electronic throttle, and the other is a fully electronic throttle that sends a signal through a sensor. The computer calculates the throttle opening angle based on the intake air volume and the sensor angle.
