First, choose a night to park the car by a wall. Keep the front of the car and the wall as vertical as possible and keep a distance of about 10 meters. Turn on the headlights first, and cover one headlight with a thick cloth to adjust the headlights on both sides one by one. Remember that the load inside the car cannot be too high or too light, so that the lights can be adjusted more balanced. It is recommended to find a friend to sit in the car, so that not only can the proper load be maintained, but also someone can help.
After the lights are turned on, record the projection of the lights on the wall with chalk. Both the left and right lights should be kept equidistant from the center axis of the car. If the phenomenon of outward or inward deviation occurs, it must be adjusted with a screwdriver according to the instructions in the car manual. As for the height of the headlight beam, the right headlight should be completely horizontal and direct, while the left headlight should be adjusted upwards by 10 cm. Be careful not to adjust the headlights too high, as this will dazzle the eyes of the driver on the other side. In addition to the height, the width of the car light can also be adjusted. The right car light beam can be adjusted slightly to the right, so that the road on the right can be seen more clearly in rainy and foggy days with extremely low visibility.
