【Car owner’s home car knowledge】At the beginning of the 20th century, several North American fashion trendsetters who were keen on automobile sports saw that Japan had a drift car appearance style, which used wide edges and low offset wheels, and highly stretched tires to reflect the aggressive appearance of their racing cars. So they began to imitate this style and gradually developed into the HellaFlush modification style.

Literally, HellaFlush=Hella Flush means there are two parts, one is Hella and the other is Flush. Hella is the abbreviation of Hell of, meaning special, extraordinary, absolute, super; Flush means flush. This refers to the state where the outer extension of the wheel hub or tire is flush with the outer extension of the wheel eyebrow, and the feeling is that the edges are flush. The wheel hub, tire and car body naturally become a whole and maintain the same curve, especially when the wheel hub is at the correct offset (negative value of the wheel hub), it has the effect of being flush with the car body.
At the same time, it is indispensable that you must lower your body as much as possible to make your car called Hella Flush. There is no exact standard for how low the body should be lowered, because ordinary shock absorbers and air suspension are not comparable in terms of the degree of height reduction, but there is a basic rule that there must be no space (Wheel Gap) between the tires and fenders. So if you don't lower your car really, really low, you're just Flushing. There are two things to be very clear about here:

So if you don't lower your car really, really low, you're just Flushing. There are two things to be very clear about here:
1. The formation of HellaFlush must first satisfy Flush, which is a flush wheel tire, and then it is qualified to work hard from Flush to HellaFlush;
2. The vehicle height must be as low as possible, and there must be no gap between the tires and fenders when viewed from the side of the car.
The central idea of HellaFlush/Why HellaFlush

The central idea of HellaFlush is that Offset is everything. Negative values are everything. The correct negative value can give you the correct flush effect. The wheel hub width also plays a big role, but on highly concave and convex wheels and wide-sided wheels, the width of the wheel hub itself is even more important.
HellaFlush gave birth to an organization in the world: Wrong Fitment Crew, giving us an explanation of "where "Wrong" could be so "Right". The wrong here refers to the wrong offset in the traditional sense, and the right refers to the correct installation effect under the HellaFlush aesthetic. HellaFlush It is not a very serious topic, it is not a very naive appearance modification trend, it is not the aftermath of a car movie like Fast and Furious, and it is not a style that everyone can understand and appreciate. HellaFlush is not a simple "pan", it is full of too much persistence and hardship, sweat and waiting, and it cannot be summarized by a "pan". This is an attitude that those who don't understand will never achieve it, and those who understand will never go wrong. The most important thing is that HellaFlush does not distinguish between models, high or low.
How to turn your car into HellaFlush?

1.Very low offset and very wide wheels. The wheel hubs may not necessarily be designed and manufactured for your car. Even if they are designed for your car, they will be of a size that you have never dared to use before. A complete wheel hub is not necessarily required, winter hoops, adding spacers and other methods are acceptable.
2.Stance - The smallest possible distance between the wheel eyebrow and the wheel hub. This task is accomplished by modifying the suspension. It does not necessarily need to be modified. Any method to lower the car is acceptable.

3.Camber (inclination) adjustment. Basically, the front and rear camber angles need to be adjusted to an angle above a certain negative number to increase the gap between the tire hub and the fenders that will not be scratched during movement. The inclination angle of some vehicles with non-independent rear suspension needs to be adjusted with inclination screws and spacers, and it cannot be adjusted very much.
4.Fender rolling or pullin. It needs to be completed with a special Fender roller tool. Only by cooperating with the inward curling and outward expansion of the wheel brow and the abnormal Camber setting can the HellaFlush effect be achieved.
5.Tire stretch "Stretch" - refers to the effect of narrow tires mounted on extra-wide wheels. This is to free up space in the wheel eyebrows and reduce the friction between the wheel eyebrows and the tires. Nowadays, more and more people use stretch to highlight the effect of the wide edges of the wheel hub. Many people will say that this is very dangerous, and tire rubbing is very annoying, but I believe those "many people" are not smarter than the mechanics of the drift team, right? If it can even be used on drift cars, why can't it be used for daily transportation?
