To solve this problem, Tesla will add the following features to the vehicle:

1. Restore the energy recovery intensity option for Tesla vehicles;

2. Adjust the factory default state of the vehicle's energy regenerative braking strategy;

3. Send a reminder when the driver depresses the accelerator pedal deeply for a long time.

It should be noted that Tesla’s OTA upgrade needs to connect to WiFi or mobile phone hotspots. The car’s own Internet of Vehicles cannot be used for system updates. The entire OTA upgrade process takes about 15-30 minutes, because the car and machine cannot be used during the OTA period. , so do not perform OTA upgrades while driving.

The recalled OTA upgrade will be pushed to the vehicles within the recall range from May 29th. When a yellow download icon appears in the upper right corner of the vehicle’s central control screen, or an update prompt appears on the Tesla mobile app, it means that the OTA has been released. Push, it is recommended that all Tesla owners complete the OTA upgrade in time after receiving the upgrade push, so as to achieve the purpose of eliminating potential safety hazards.
