Shouldn’t the turbocharged model be bought?

There is such a saying on the Internet:
1. The turbocharger has to be replaced about 100,000 kilometers.
2. Maintenance is much more expensive than natural inhalation.

To understand this problem, you must know how the turbocharger works. Turbo is actually an air booster that uses the secondary intake (exhaust exhaust from the engine) as a power to propel the turbine in the turbine casing. At the same time, the coaxial supercharger wheel is driven, and the supercharger increases the intake air amount (primary intake) by the rotation of the supercharger wheel. When you give oil to your big feet, the engine speed increases, and the increase in engine exhaust volume drives the turbine and the supercharger to rotate faster. The intake air volume is proportional to the engine speed.

1. The turbocharger has to be changed about 100,000 kilometers.
The turbocharger does attenuate because the temperature inside the chamber can reach 1000 degrees Celsius when the supercharger is working, and it will burn red even after a long working time. But to say that 100,000 kilometers or so to replace this is not a fixed number, but also depends on your personal operation, as long as the use of care, not often violent floor oil, cold start slowly, stop idling for a while and then turn off, 100,000 kilometers will only appear Power attenuation, no need to replace.

2. Maintenance is more expensive than natural inhalation
This is for sure, mainly because turbocharged engines require high-quality synthetic motor oil, and the maintenance cycle is shorter than that of naturally aspirated engines, so the maintenance of turbocharged engines is much higher.

For every car owner, turbocharging is a well-known word. A turbocharged car can really play a big role in power and fuel economy. Many car owners regard it as speed. Symbol of passion. The corresponding turbocharged model is also slightly more expensive in the later car maintenance costs. If the owner has bad driving habits and lacks proper maintenance knowledge, turbocharging will greatly degrade the performance and life of the vehicle.

1. Must use high quality engine oil
At present, most of the problems of burning oil are caused by the oil seal seal between the turbocharger and the intake pipe, which causes the phenomenon of burning oil. The main reason for the damage of the oil seal is that the cycle of changing the oil is too long or the use of inferior oil is used, thus causing the floating main shaft of the turbine to lack lubrication and heat dissipation, thereby damaging the oil seal and causing oil leakage.

Therefore, the turbocharger is relatively "extraordinary", and the oil is more demanding than the ordinary naturally aspirated engine. Part of the phenomenon of burning oil is mostly due to the damage of the oil seal between the inlet and the intake pipe. Because the main shaft of the turbocharger is a floating design, the entire main shaft relies on lubricating oil to dissipate heat and lubrication. If poor quality oil is used. Due to its high viscosity and poor fluidity, the floating main shaft of the turbine cannot be properly lubricated and dissipated. Choose oil with good oil, its oxidation resistance, abrasion resistance, high temperature resistance, lubrication and heat dissipation will be better.

2. Change oil filter and air filter in time
Vehicles that use turbines should pay special attention to the timely replacement of the oil filter and air filter and keep the turbine clean. In general, the clearance between the turbocharger shaft and the bushing is small. If the oil used is not pure or the oil filter is not clean, the turbocharger will be excessively worn.
Secondly, since the air contains a large amount of impurities, once the dust particles enter the high-speed operation, the dust particles will hit the supercharger, causing the turbine to run unstable and cause wear. You can check the turbocharger regularly for damage. The method is to hear if there is any abnormal noise or unusual vibration, and whether the seal ring is sealed.

3. The cold car starts to slow down, the hot car idles and then turns off.
When the cold car starts, the oil temperature is usually low and relatively viscous, resulting in poor lubrication. Therefore, the lubrication effect can only be achieved after the temperature rises to the normal temperature. In the process, if the turbine is forced to work at full load, it will wear out. Therefore, it is recommended that the cold car should be idling for 3-5 minutes before driving, or it can warm up for a period of time at low speed.
