1. Before diagnosing and repairing the SRS airbag, you should first check the diagnostic code, and then disconnect the battery cable, because the diagnostic code is the most important source of information for fault diagnosis.
2.willIgnition SwitchSwitch to the OFF (or LOCK) position and the negative terminal of the batteryTerminalAfter removing the cable for 90s (60s for some models), it can only start to work, because the airbag is generally equipped with a backup power supply. If the negative cable is removed from the battery and the maintenance work starts within 90s (or 60s), the airbag may be damaged. Inflate open.
3. When the negative terminal is disconnected from the battery, the memory content of the clock and audio system (many audio systems have anti-theft codes) will disappear. Therefore, before starting work, the storage content of each storage system should be recorded. After the work is over, the sound system should be reset, the password should be re-entered, and the clock should be adjusted.
4. Even if there is only a minor collision and the SRS airbag is not deployed, the airbag, sensors, seat belt retractor, control computer, cables, plugs, etc. should be carefully checked.
5. In the repair process, if there is a possibility of impact on the front sensor, the sensor should be removed before repair.
6. Do not disassemble and repair the central sensor (or control computer), front sensors, airbags, seat belt retractors for reuse, or use SRS in other vehiclesAccessories.
7. Do not expose airbags, sensors, and seat belt retractors directly to hot air or flames.
8. If the fasteners of the sensor, airbag, seat belt retractor, control computer and other components have fallen off or the shell, bracket, connector has cracks, dents or other defects, they should be replaced.
9. Use high-impedance (at least 10kΩ/V) meters to diagnose system faults.
