Lithium battery is a type of battery, which refers to a battery in which the negative electrode material is lithium metal or ion alloy, and a non-aqueous electrolyte solution is used.In general, lithium batteries are used inelectric car, electric motorcycles and other large equipment. However, because of its active chemical properties and high requirements for the environment and processing and preservation, the use of lithium batteries is not very extensive.

In addition to lithium batteries, there are lead-acid batteries. Compared with lead-acid batteries, the two batteries are more mature in technology and cheaper. Although lithium batteries have better advantages, the technology of lithium batteries is not yet mature. So many times you will choose to use other batteries instead of lithium batteries.

The biggest difference between lithium batteries and lead-acid batteries is the difference in performance. There is already a big difference between the two of them in terms of internal structure, and the materials used for the two are also different. When the lead-acid battery is working, the internal reaction is mainly that the positive electrode decomposes into carbon dioxide, and the negative electrode decomposes into lead, but if it is not fully charged, vulcanization may occur. The lithium battery will not produce too many other components during the charging process, and the service life will be longer than that of the acid battery.

From the perspective of safety, when the lead-acid battery is impacted by the outside world, the internal substances may undergo chemical reactions, and the reaction of these substances is likely to cause an explosion, while the structure of lithium batteries is relatively more. It is more stable and less prone to chemical reactions, so it is relatively safer.
