What is the reason for the damage of the clutch buffer spring

When the clutch slipping temperature rises, the clutch pressure plate will expand due to high temperature, and the pressure plate will also change between expansion and contraction, and the buffer spring of the clutch will also deform under high temperature conditions, and the elastic force will be out of alignment, and the spring will be damaged .

Every time the clutch is stepped on, the plate-shaped claws on the clutch pressure plate will start to separate and combine through the principle of leverage. The spring on the pressure plate can buffer the instantaneous force, which can reduce the various resonances under the speed. It can prevent the axial movement of the sheet from being unstable during high-speed rotation. The pressure plate of the clutch is made of cast iron. The front of the pressure plate must bear the effect of friction, and the back also bears the effect of spring pressure, so the friction surface of the pressure plate is the most vulnerable to damage. Once the pressure plate is worn out , the general maintenance method is mainly to use repair. If the friction surface is too thin and there are large cracks on the plane due to repair, it is necessary to replace the new pressure plate.
