What happens if the cylinder head is not tightly sealed?

A poorly sealed cylinder head is the first to cause air leakage in the cylinder, resulting in insufficient cylinder compression pressure, lower temperatures, and reduced air quality. If the air leakage is serious, the engine power will be greatly reduced, and even the work will not be possible.

The poor seal of the cylinder head may be caused by the following reasons. The first is that the use and installation of the cylinder head gasket is not correct. The second is that the cylinder head gasket is damaged. The third is that the cylinder head is slightly beating. The torque value, the fifth is that the flatness of the cylinder head or cylinder block is too large, the sixth is that the surface of the cylinder is not cooled uniformly, the seventh is that the additives in the coolant are not suitable, the eighth is that the maintenance and assembly quality of the diesel engine is poor, and the ninth is that Inappropriate fuel is selected. The tenth is that the diesel engine is used incorrectly. The eleventh is that the cylinder head bolt hole has cracks, protrusions or tripping. The twelfth is that the cylinder head bolts that do not meet the specifications are used. Thirteen is caused by too much torque or unevenness when tightening the bolts. When tightening the bolts, the metal around the bolts on the cylinder block should be pulled until it protrudes so as not to affect the normal operation of the engine.
