People can take advantage of various Toyota technologies, including autonomous driving, environmentally friendly hydrogen fuel, robots, smart homes and more. Toyota CEO Akio Toyoda said that construction of the city will begin in 2021, with Danish designer Bjark Ingels serving as the architect. The city is expected to accommodate 2,000 people, and residents can even enjoy AI smart medical health checks. Toyota said that such "cities" can allow technology to be applied and verified faster.
