1. Brake FluidBasic principles of replacement

Brake fluid plays a role in lubricating and transmitting pressure in the car's braking system. Over time, brake fluid becomes contaminated, diluted and aged, reducing its performance. Therefore, it is very important to change brake fluid regularly to maintain the normal operation and braking effect of the brake system.

2. Preparation

- Park the vehicle on flat ground and make sure the engine is off.

- Locate the brake fluid bottle and open the lid.

- Have a syringe, new brake fluid and drain bottle ready.

- If there is a lift, you can use the lift to lift the bottom of the car; otherwise, you can use a jack, but the operation is relatively difficult.

3. Steps to replace brake fluid

- Use a syringe to extract all the old oil from the brake oil bottle and pour it into the waste oil container.

- Pour new brake fluid into the brake fluid bottle (it takes about 1-2 liters), depending on the capacity of the car's brake fluid tank.

- Use a wrench to loosen the oil drain screw on the brake cylinder and remove the dust cap.

- Put the rubber tube on the oil drain screw and connect the other end to the oil drain bottle.

- One person should step on the brake pedal, and the other person should observe the color of the brake fluid in the rubber pipe.

- If the brake fluid is darker in color, it means that the old oil has not been drained out; if it is lighter in color, it means that the tire brake fluid has been replaced. At this time, stop applying the brakes and reinstall the oil drain screw and dust cap.

- Do the same for the other tires in turn.

- Finally, observe the brake fluid level. If it is lower than the lowest mark, add an appropriate amount of brake fluid to the correct level (usually between the highest and lowest mark).

4. Safety precautions

- Brake fluid is corrosive, avoid contact with skin. If oil splashes into your eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of running water and seek medical attention as soon as possible.

- Be careful not to drain all the brake fluid during operation to prevent air from entering the brake system.

- If you are not familiar with the operation, it is recommended to consult professional technicians or seek car repair services.
