Lift the measuring cup full of lubricating oil 30-40 cm away from the desktop and tilt it to slow down the lubricating oil. Slowly flow into the empty cup and observe its flow. The oil flow of good quality lubricating oil should be slender, uniform and continuous. Spoiled.
② Twist the lubricating oil between the thumb and the index finger for repeated grinding. The better lubricating oil feels lubricating, less abrasive, and frictionless. It indicates that there are too many impurities in the lubricating oil and can no longer be used, and the lubricating oil should be replaced with a new one.
③ Illumination method On a sunny day, use a screwdriver to lift up the lubricating oil and make a 45-degree angle with the horizontal plane. Contrast with sunlight and observe the condition of oil droplets. Under sunlight, it can be clearly seen that there is no wear debris in the lubricating oil as good, and it can continue to work. If there are too many wear debris, the lubricating oil should be replaced.
④ In the oil drop trace method, take a clean white filter test paper, and drop a few drops of oil on the filter test paper. After the lubricant leaks, if there is black powder on the surface and there is a sense of resistance to touch by hand, it means that there are impurities in the lubricant.
