The lack of electricity in the car battery will cause the car to fail to start, and the lack of electricity in the battery may be caused by the vulcanization of the battery. Vulcanization of the battery is the deep discharge of the battery. The sulfuric acid and the lead plate will generate lead sulfate. If the lead sulfate is not charged in time, the lead sulfate will crystallize. If the crystallization time is long, it will not decompose after recharging, causing the battery to sulfate. If the vulcanization is serious, it will cause the battery to be scrapped. How to repair the car battery loss?

1. Take the line of fire

Car battery loss can be repaired by charging and repairing by means of sparking wire. The so-called firewire is to find another car, use a charging cable to interconnect the battery electrodes of the two cars, and then start the rescue car for charging. After a period of time, the car can start after a loss of electricity. It should be noted that the positive and negative poles should be distinguished. The red wire is connected to the positive electrode and the black wire is connected to the negative electrode. Connect the positive electrode first, and then the negative electrode.

2. Repair instrument

After the car battery loses power, you should use a charger to charge it immediately. If you can’t charge it with an ordinary charger, the battery voltage may be insufficient, and you need to use the high-resistance repair of the repairer to increase the voltage to more than 10V before it can be charged. If the battery voltage is lower than 10V and cannot be improved after charging and repairing, the battery must be replaced.

How long will it take to charge after power loss

The car battery needs to be charged in time when it loses electricity. Usually, a 12V60Ah battery is used in a family car, and the charging current required is one-tenth of the battery capacity, which is 6A. Charging with this current generally takes more than 12 hours. If charging with low current, it takes about 20 hours to fully charge.
