The antifreeze liquid is at the lower limit and the hot car is in the middle. This situation indicates that the antifreeze is insufficient. Generally, we judge whether it is normal by the remaining amount of antifreeze in the cold car state, and the normal situation is that the antifreeze liquid level should be at the upper limit. Therefore, when the car is cooled by antifreeze liquid, it is abnormal that the liquid level is at the lower limit, and antifreeze should be added in time.

The antifreeze fluid will rise when the car is hot, because the water temperature of the engine rises when the car is hot, and the antifreeze fluid will expand, so the liquid level will naturally rise.

Generally, the antifreeze storage location has the main water tank and the auxiliary water tank. The antifreeze of the auxiliary water tank can only be added to the half tank or the highest mark. When the car is hot, the expanded antifreeze can be stored. If the auxiliary water tank is full of antifreeze, the expanded antifreeze cannot be stored in the hot car state, which will cause the antifreeze to overflow, and part of the antifreeze is wasted.

If you need to add a small amount of antifreeze, you can add a secondary water tank, and if there is no antifreeze in the main water tank, you should add it directly to the main water tank, because adding from the secondary water tank will be slower.

However, the way to add antifreeze depends on the vehicle model. Different models have different locations for adding antifreeze. Some are added through the location of the auxiliary water tank, and some are added through the location of the main water tank, depending on the driver. Operate according to the regulations in the manual.
