The working principle of the carbon canister solenoid valve: due to the tightness of the fuel tank, fuel consumption will cause negative pressure inside the fuel tank. Under the action of negative pressure, gasoline will volatilize oil vapor more easily than under normal pressure. When the engine is turned off, the canister mixes the oil vapor from the fuel tank with air and stores it in the activated carbon micropores in the canister to prevent the oil vapor from escaping into the atmosphere. When the engine starts, the electromagnetic valve installed between the activated carbon canister and the intake manifold is opened, and the oil vapor in the canister is used as fuel to be sent to the engine to participate in combustion. It not only reduces emissions, but also reduces fuel consumption.
