1. First connect the computer tester to the car computer fault diagnosis socket;

2. Then start the car engine and set the computer tester to data transmission mode;

3. Then directly hit the cylinder block near the knock sensor with the head, and observe the change of the ignition advance angle value on the display of the instrument at the same time;

4. If the value drops when the head strikes, it means that the knock sensor is in normal working condition at this time. But if there is no change at all, it means there is a problem with the knock sensor.
