If the CNG pressure reducer is broken, there will be symptoms such as unstable idling, difficulty in turning air, increased fuel consumption, poor power performance, and flameout during travel. The CNG pressure reducer is installed near the intake pipe of the engine and where the vibration is small, but it cannot be installed directly on the engine, and its installation position cannot be higher than the top of the engine radiator, otherwise the heating water cannot flow through the pressure reducer, resulting in The pressure reducer is frozen and cracked.

CNG pressure reducer is used in oil-gas hybrid vehicles. It is a valve that uses the energy of the medium to adjust and control the pipeline pressure. Its working principle is to overcome the spring resistance through the pressure diaphragm, drive the lever, adjust the flow area of the orifice, and control the pressure of the natural gas after decompression. The main function is to reduce and stabilize the pressure, so it is also called a pressure reducing regulator, which is a key component of gas vehicles.

The CNG pressure reducer assembly is equipped with an idle valve to supply air to the engine at idle speed; during the decompression process of the compressor, it needs to expand to do work and absorb heat, so the pressure reducer is also equipped with a heating device that uses the engine's circulating water. In order to improve the running performance of the vehicle, an oil-gas fuel conversion switch is installed in the cab to control the oil-gas solenoid valve and the ignition time converter. The ignition time converter automatically converts the different ignition advance angles of the two fuels through the circuit system.
