How to decide whether to do chassis armor:
Since the chassis protection of each brand model is different, raising the car to check is the most basic method. If there is a layer of plastic with rough surface sticking to the bottom of the car and pressing softly, it means that it has been protected. If it is a smooth exposed steel plate, it means that there is no protection. During inspection, special attention should be paid to whether the wheel arcs, the inner side of the fender and the connecting steel frame are protected. These key parts are usually omitted by the manufacturer.
Types of chassis armor:
1,Anti-rust adhesive for chassis with bituminous composition. This is the first generation of chassis armor products, which has been eliminated from the market.
2,Oil-based (solvent-based) chassis anti-rust adhesive. This is the second-generation chassis armor product, in which the diluent is mostly toluene, which is a highly toxic ingredient that is harmful to the human body. The adhesive layer formed after construction is very hard and easy to crack, and the sound insulation effect is also very general.
3.Water-soluble chassis anti-rust glue. Also known as environmentally friendly chassis anti-rust adhesive, this type of product is currently used in most European and American countries. The water-soluble chassis anti-rust adhesive has strong adhesion, good elasticity of the adhesive layer, and remarkable sound insulation effect of the chassis. It is the preferred material for chassis armor.
