Brake pads don’t need to be changed at all, don’t be fooled by 4S, why don’t you need to change brake pads

Brake pads need to be replaced regularly. What is said in the market is that they do not need to be replaced because the brake pads should not be replaced at will, and brake pads of different materials have different replacement cycles. If the material of the brake pads is ceramic, the replacement cycle is about 80,000 to 100,000 kilometers. If the material of the brake pads is metal, the replacement cycle is about 3 to 5 years.

If the brake pads are replaced irregularly, the heat dissipation effect of the brake pads will be greatly reduced, and the braking force will also be reduced. For example, if the owner steps on the brake pedal, it would take 40 meters for the vehicle to come to a complete stop, but because the performance of the brake discs deteriorates, the braking distance will become longer, requiring 50 to 60 meters to stop completely.

Signs that brake pads need to be replaced

1. If there is deviation in the braking of the vehicle, it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the braking system. If the volume of the sub-pump cup expands, it means that the quality of the brake pads is not very good, and the owner needs to buy good quality brake pads. Then replace it, remember to replace the leather bowl as well;

2. When the brakes of the vehicle suddenly become heavier and then suddenly lighter, it means that the brake pads are damaged and need to be replaced as soon as possible. When replacing, you need to take out alcohol to clean the brake system;

3. When the owner steps on the rightmost brake pedal, if there is a slight sound coming out, it means that the brake pads are seriously worn, so there is a slight sound.

Brake pads can be replaced at a 4s shop or a repair shop. If the vehicle is under warranty, it is better to go to a 4s shop for replacement. If it is not within the warranty period, you can go to the repair shop to replace it, and the cost will be relatively low.
