Does BMW 3 series transmission oil need to be changed?

The gearbox oil of the BMW 3 Series needs to be changed. The fifth-generation 3-series uses a 6at gearbox, and the sixth- and seventh-generation 3-series all use ZF’s 8at gearbox. It is recommended to change the transmission oil every 60,000 to 80,000 kilometers. It is recommended that car enthusiasts use the cycle machine oil change method when changing the transmission oil, and choose the original transmission oil. The cycle machine oil change method can drain the old transmission oil in the transmission more cleanly. When changing the transmission oil, the filter element of the transmission oil should also be replaced together, and the transmission oil pan should also be rinsed clean. ZF's 8at gearbox oil pan is made of composite material rather than metal, so be careful not to damage it during disassembly and flushing. AT gearbox is a kind of gearbox with the highest R&D and production cost, the most mature technology and the most widely used.
