Open the hood of your car and look for the cap on the fluid reservoir. When you find it, the reservoir acts like a bright indicator light, providing you with a convenient location for refilling or replacing antifreeze. The fluid reservoir is usually located on a raised portion within the engine compartment to ensure easy identification.

Open the reservoir cap andDiscoverCorrect position

Once you open the reservoir cap, you will find the correct location of the antifreeze. This location acts like a bright indicator light in your car's engine compartment, allowing you to easily add or replace antifreeze. Just follow the tank down to find the screw plug at the lower end of the water pump. On some models, the screw plug is located under the radiator. If you need to replace your antifreeze, be sure to drain the old fluid first.

Add antifreeze

When you're done draining, you can pour in a small amount of antifreeze. The poured antifreeze will flow out, and you can continue to tighten the screw plug to fill it. If you did not drain the old fluid, you can skip this step. Please make sure the antifreeze does not exceed the "MAX" mark.

Start the engine and observe the fluid level

Finally, start the engine and let it idle for 3-5 minutes. This is done to remove the air from the water line and observe changes in the liquid level in the reservoir. Finally, replenish the antifreeze to between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks.
