Because the temperature of the transfer case oil is not high, it is much lower than the oil temperature of the transmission oil, there is no external leakage, and it is basically difficult to deteriorate.

What type of oil is added to the transfer case

The transfer case is filled with ATF automatic transmission oil. ATF has finer oil molecules and high-efficiency shear resistance.
